INTRODUCING THE
Bright Light Student Scholarship
We are thrilled to announce the Kenzie's Closet Bright Light Student Scholarship! $1,000 will be awarded to a 2024 high school senior continuing their education at a university, community college or trade school. Generously funded by the Geier Family, the Bright Light Student Scholarship recipient will celebrate the student who best embodies the spirit of inclusion, empowerment and community giving of Kenzie's Closet!
Guidelines & Information
Kenzie's Closet invites any female high school student who has shopped at our boutique to apply for this award.
Qualifying students must be graduating in the current graduating year of application. Kenzie's Closet is pleased to be awarding a $1,000 Scholarship to any student who is continuing their education in one of the following ways:
1
Entering a trade school
2
Entering a community college
3
Entering a 4-year college or university
Selection Criteria
​The winner will be chosen based on their responses to the questions in the application, not their GPA. The applicant in each category who best embodies the spirit of inclusion, empowerment and community giving of Kenzie's Closet will be given the scholarship award. Only one award will be given to a student. The award winner will be featured on our website and in the Kenzie's Closet boutique reception space for the year following their scholarship award. The scholarship award check will be mailed directly to the scholarship recipient's school after final selection is announced.

Applicant must be a female high school student in Grade 12 and graduating in 2024.

Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better and intends to pursue post-secondary education (trade school, community college or 4-year college/university}.

Applicant may not be a family member or the child/grandchild of a current staff member

or board member.

Application, along with an unofficial transcript, should be submitted online or emailed to info@kenziescloset.org, prior to the application deadline.

Winner must be available to receive the award in person. If there are financial or personal circumstances that make this impossible, please notify Kenzie's Closet (info@kenziescloset.org) prior to completing the application.

Winner agrees to be interviewed, photographed and/or videotaped by Kenzie's Closet, as well as any other media outlet(s}. If the winner is under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must grant permission for the interview(s}.
