Kenzie Comisar was like any 17 year old girl. She was carefree, enjoying life, and looking forward to her senior year in high school. Kenzie had an infectious personality, a twinkle in her eye and a knack for making new friends wherever she was. Tragically, she lost her life in a car accident on her way to a friend's house, a week before her senior year. She never got to go to her senior prom.
Brynne Coletti, the founder of Kenzie's closet, named her newly formed non- profit organization in Kenzie's memory. Her mission was to help young ladies with a current financial need to be able to attend their dream prom night.
We celebrate Kenzie Comisar every year when we open our doors for “shopping season” at Kenzie's Closet. As every dress walks out the door we are remembering what life is all about and what Kenzie believed in...
~ “Every girl should feel like a princess on her prom night."
Thanks to our donors who believe in the same spirit as Kenzie, we are able to provide our services at no cost to our students.
