Many high school girls in Greater Cincinnati dream of going to their prom, but financial limitations keep that dream from coming true.

Hundreds of girls have attended their proms thanks to Kenzie’s CLOSET and the donations of the people and businesses of Greater Cincinnati. Kenzie's CLOSET first opened its doors in time for the 2006 prom season. We are a non-profit organization accepting monetary donations, gently worn prom dresses and accessories.

Economically disadvantaged girls from schools throughout Greater Cincinnati who are referred to Kenzie's CLOSET by a principal, counselor or social service agency can schedule an appointment to "shop" for the dress of their dreams at the Kenzie's CLOSET boutique — all free of charge.

Kenzie's CLOSET was named after Makena "Kenzie" Comisar, a St. Ursula Academy senior who was killed in a single-car accident before she could attend her prom. Kenzie was known for her big heart and generosity.
